Our Firm

Viator and Associates was established in 1984 by Ted Viator, ASLA in Lafayette, Louisiana. Since then, the firm has provided a wide range of landscape architecture services to both residential and commercial clients throughout the South. Ted's work has been featured in various publications including Southern Living, Landscape Architecture Magazine, Louisiana Homes and Gardens, and many others.

For nearly 30 years, Viator and Associates has worked closely with its clients to produce designs that are creative, practical, and tailored to their needs, wants, and unique lifestyles. Although we pull inspiration for our designs from many things including nature, history, travel, tradition, and the natural beauty of our surroundings, we strive to present to the client a clear, cohesive design that successfully integrates the built environment and the natural world.

One-on-one interaction between the client and architect is invaluable to the design process. We greatly appreciate this relationship and take pride in the personal feel Viator and Associates maintains.
